Recovery - Stonechat

Thetford Forest Ringing Group have been colour ringing Stonechats locally for a good few years now. I keep an eye out and usually bump into birds each year in the Kings Forest, such as this one:

This bird was ringed as a second calendar year female on 16th June 2019, in the 496 days since it was ringed it has only moved a small distance (< 1km) to the location I saw it. So a local bird and a local movement, still good to know it is a few years old and paired off. Hopefully boosting the local Stonechat population with its mate.
