On this day - Waxwing

Waxwing - Bury St Edmunds Cemetery - December 2015

Five years ago I was working on Western Way, just a short walk from the town cemetery. As such, when local birder and artist extraordinaire Richard Thewlis found a lone Waxwing, I was able to walk down on my lunch break to enjoy the berry munching beaut. I walked through the bus station yesterday, where I last saw Waxwings in town. Got me thinking, Waxwings would be as welcome a sight as blue sky this winter!
