If anyone has any contacts with accommodation in Manningtree that would be great! Hit a bad lad up if you can help.

I'd say training is going OK. I still have fitness gains I'd like to make over the next 6 weeks - but life isn't perfect and no lead-in to any Dove Step has been either. My leg aches where I was hit by the car and I still have the threat of corrective surgery lingering. Still, I've got 180 miles hiking and 340 miles run training in the legs so far this year, with discernible progress in terms of both recovery and fitness.

The overall distance is suitably intimidating, especially the day 1 marathon followed by, effectively, another marathon! Of course, if there was absolute certainty of completing it would not be a challenge and it would not be Dove Step...

79 miles - 2 days - Dove Step Rehab - another journey for Turtle Doves
