St Agnes - Day 4

We've made it to the fourth day of this odyssey of hiking, birding, running and drinking. It's all pretty impressive to be honest. Today we started with a low-level, chilled out seawatch just all restrained and that. There was a near constant flight line of large shears between 08:30 and 09:30 - out of comfortable I.D. range, but definitely large shears. Within firm I.D. range were; 7 Cory's, 3 Manx and an Arctic Skua.

After that some people strung* Greenish and Spot Flys and other scarce. I re-saw the Wryneck from yesterday and otherwise enjoyed the island birds; waders in the coves, shags on the sea and Gannet's in the air. What's not to like? The wind is up and is going to increase to 45mph - we sea watch again at dawn...

*It might not be string?
